Over the past few years, the municipal landscape, in terms of both challenges and opportunities, has changed dramatically. Future Owen Sound—Vision 2050 is responding to this new reality. The new vision will build on the important work that informed the previous Strategic Plan Refresh. The process will leverage existing local expertise while creating space for capacity building and collective learning. The process will also include an especially wide range of people and perspectives. The Future Owen Sound—Vision 2050 initiative is being led by the municipality, but given its extraordinarily inclusive and creative community engagement process, its success will ultimately be determined by the ongoing contributions of everyone.

    Help Shape the Future Owen Sound - Vision 2050

    This survey is the first step in a larger community engagement process meant to gather initial feedback and insights to help begin to shape the Future Owen Sound—Vision 2050 initiative. 

    The survey will be open from May 27, 2024, until approximately July 31, 2024, and is being distributed widely both online and through physical survey boxes, with paper copies stationed throughout the city. Paper copies of the survey will also be provided to further increase accessibility.
